The IAARI Ethics Committee was established on April 4th, 2007 by Dr. Mostafa Moein, with the official approval from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. The committee meets at least three times each year; 36 meetings have been held so far with 225 projects reviewed. The members of the committee are approved by the Vice Chancellor for Research every two years.
“IR.TUMS.IAARI.REC” is the special code assigned to biomedical research activities approved by this committee, accredited by the National Committee for Ethics in Biomedical Research.
