Prof. Shahnaz Rafiei Tehrani was Honored for her Editorial Contribution to Iranian Journal of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology
A ceremony was held at IAARI to appreciate the contributions of Dr. Shahnaz Rafiei Tehrani, the former editor-in-chief of the Iranian Journal of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. She served as editor-in-chief from 2018 to 2023 and is a professor emeritus of immunology at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. She was praised for her efforts to improve the quality and impact of the journal, which is the official publication of IAARI.
Prof. Mostafa Moin, the director of the center and the new editor-in-chief of the journal, presented her with a plaque of appreciation and thanked her for her dedication. The ceremony was attended by professors from various universities and research institutes, who expressed their gratitude and admiration for Dr. Rafiei Tehrani. The Iranian Journal of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology is a peer-reviewed, quarterly, English-language journal that covers topics related to immunology, asthma, and allergy. It was established in 2002 and is indexed in several international databases, including PubMed and Scopus.
