For the first time, and with the aim of enhancing both public and professional health literacy, the center has translated, localized, and published a comprehensive guide for patients with Hereditary Angioedema in Persian. The guide is released in the form of a book titled “Understanding Hereditary Angioedema.”

IAARI Faculty Attend the 2023 HAEi Regional Conference EMEA
A team of faculty members from IAARI participated in 2023 HAEi Regional Conference EMEA. Hereditary angioedema (HAE) a rare and potentially life-threatening disease that causes severe swelling of the throat and suffocation. The conference was held in Munich, Germany from September 1 to 3, 2023.
Prof. Shahnaz Rafiei Tehrani was Honored for her Editorial Contribution to Iranian Journal of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology
A ceremony was held at IAARI to appreciate the contributions of Dr. Shahnaz Rafiei Tehrani, the former editor-in-chief of the Iranian Journal of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. She served as editor-in-chief from 2018 to 2023 and is a professor emeritus of immunology at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. She was praised for her efforts to improve the quality and impact of the journal, which is the official publication of IAARI.
